Tray-Say

So I totally suck today.
I'm crazy at work and  I've got like no time today, so I thought I'd share with you something that has become somewhat ingrained in my mind and my vocabulary.

My kids showed me this and I swear, I watched it once and started quoting "Tray-Say" regularly. Now my friends have caught on and even my employees know about Tracy.

I'm not sure why this stuck with me but it did. You'd think I was more mature than this?
I guess not. Like Tracy says, "What err.."

The Great Underwear Debate

Ok, so I vowed I wasn't going to get in to this on The Daily Dandy, but I gave up swearing for lent, not lying. HA! So here goes. This is one that had us all talking.

Yesterday I'm watching GMA and this story comes on about a mom and her 9 yr old daughter, who she took to Victoria Secret to buy underwear.  Now, there are a few details I need to report before you can form your opinion and respond.

  • She took her to Pink, which is a subsidiary of Victoria Secret that is marketed to college age girls and is still in the same store as Victoria Secret, but has it's own space. Pink's designs are bright, bold, lacy racy and eye catching. As you can see some, not all designs have sayings that could be considered inappropriate for a nine year old.
  • The mother claims there is "nothing wrong with it". She says "No child wants to be the one in the locker room with the ugly underwear."
  • The child claims it's time to leave the "Gymboree" behind and "move on to the next level.
  • The mom says she draws the line at lace. "There's a hard line between pretty and sexy and it's hard when we're talking about underwear to know where that difference is."
Here's the story:

And the GMA link:

Tell me what you think! I'm dying to hear.
Oh, and there's one more thing.

Did I mention that the mom is a blogger?

Emily Post 101: A Survey

Is emailing a thank you note acceptable etiquette? The answer may surprise you.

The experts say handwritten thank you's are still tops, but there are exceptions to the rule. According to Emily Post, a handwritten note is preferred for gifts, but if the gift comes from a close friend or relative an email note is acceptable. The other exception is a thank you for a job interview. In that case an email thank you is highly encouraged and can aid your chances for the position.

I would venture to guess that in this wired age of technology, easy and instant email communication with another individual is not only acceptable, but eco-friendly. What would all the "greenies" say to Emily Post?

I will admit that I love a quick note in my inbox, expressing gratitude and well wishes, but I also understand the impact of a note taken from pen to paper. The handwritten note has become a lost art form. I read once that Princess Diana was a stickler for thank you notes. She always hand wrote her thank you's and always within 24 hours of the gesture. Blue bloods steeped in tradition, but it drives home the point about the importance of saying thank you.

Tell me what you think.

Through Egg Colored Glasses

Listen, I OWN up to my shi*. If I make a mistake I will tell you I made a mistake, ask for forgiveness and move on. Even and especially if I made a mistake, and I will do my best to rectify the situation.

But this one left me with egg on my face and it wasn't my mistake. I was duped. Oprah didn't guest host GMA..She was on for a mere 10 minutes at most, and she was in New Orleans?. What gives here? Now I'm thinking, where did I hear that Oprah was guest hosting today? I must have heard it on GMA,  where else?  I then think, "am I loosing it?" A quick internet search pulls up:

"Jessica Simpson, 32, was the first special guest host to replace Robin ...Some of the guests include Diane Sawyer, Katie Couric, Oprah Winfrey, and Kelly Ripa. ... All in all, Jessica fitted right in with the "GMA"crew. Oprah Winfrey and the Kardashian sisters will co-host on Thursday, September 13, 2012."

I think they even advertised and teased Oprah as a co-host today. So not me-THEM- have egg on their face. Whatever...just wanted to set the record straight.

Did you hear about the bank robbers in California who threw their heist of cash out a car window during a high speed pursuit by police yesterday?

The thieves allegedly threw the cash into the streets in a filed bid to block the roads with people. Hundreds of onlookers flooded the streets and started picking up the money in a frenzy. The 90 minute police chase came to an abrupt halt when a truck blocked the stolen car's path and police and onlookers swarmed the stopped get away car. Police had a difficult time controlling the crowd, but managed to detain the suspects.

Can you imagine walking down the street and seeing a car speeding dangerously down the road with a ton of money flying out the window?

I'm thinking after the initial shock, I would too, be grabbing the cash and stuffing it into my pockets as quickly as possible. Thankyouverymuch...

The question is, would you feel guilty for taking the money? I would probably worry that the cops were going to find me and tell me I have to pay it all back and then I would worry that the money was all bad luck karma and think that it brought me bad omens and  bad luck. But that's just me.

What would you feel, bloggers?

Money Matters

This is what my kids think I am. A fricken money machine.

I swear, this is all that they see when they look at me. Money, money, money. And here's the thing, THEY BOTH HAVE JOBS! Their best excuse? "Oh, I deposited my paycheck and I left my wallet in my room." Really? How stupid do they think I am?

Here's how stupid. They always say it's for food because if they say it's for food, they know I will give it to them. Usually it's a 5 dollar bill or a ten dollar bill but those $5.00 to $10.00 hits really add up after a while, and the next thing I know, I have not a dollar in my wallet.

So here's a newsflash for them: I'm not a money machine and the good times stop here! Use your own hard earned money, and eat at home before you go out. I don't care how "un-cool" it is to eat at home. If you're so worried about how cool it looks then use your own money.

And another thing, any money I find in the washing machine, including $20.00 bills, will now be going into my pocket. Finders keepers. If you aren't responsible enough to keep track of your cash (or mine for that matter) then I will take back control of said money. Just like the cruel world, there will be no money mercy.

The tribe has spoken...

Kraft-y

So there's a HUGE bru-ha-ha going on here with the Patriots head poobah, Bob Kraft. Seems Mr. Kraft, he of the flawless PR, known in pro football and business circles as a King Midas of sorts, has until yesterday been literally untouchable. His organization, The New England Patriots, are one of the most successful NFL organizations in the league and Kraft has been credited with turning the Patriots into NFL gold.

All the while, Mr. Kraft and his family have been a public relations dream. His wife of 47 years, Myra, a well known and respected philanthropist, passed away last July after a valiant battle with cancer. At 71, Bob public mourned the "love of his life" and the 2011-2012 Patriots dedicated their season to their matriarch, Myra Kraft. Coverage of Myra's funeral was streaming live on almost every Boston news organization. Bottom line, if you are a Pat's fan, you mourned too.

So was it a surprise when Mr. Kraft was seen at a recent Celtics game squiring a 32 year old aspiring actor named Ricki Lander?

The answer to that question lies in your tolerance level for a proper period of mourning. Who's to say what's mournfully acceptable? And who really cares what their relationship is? Kraft publicly declared his young attendant a "pal" and that was enough for me.

That was all fine and well until yesterday.

That's when Bob Kraft "regretfully" joined the ranks of the creepy and the Kraft-y, although I'm sure this was "never his intention". A video with Ricki and Bobby (see what I did there?) was leaked to the press and instantly went mega viral. She in a bikini, and Bob in a casual sweater, can be seen reading lines from what is thought to be parts of the script from the upcoming Vince Vaughn/Owen Wilson movie called "The Interns". Word has it that Kraft intended the video audition for his "pal" to be seen by Vince Vaughn's eyes only but when something is just not right, and it's caught on film, it always jumps up to bite you in the proverbial ass. Doesn't it?

The video has since been removed by Fox, claiming ownership of it's content, and I did not see it, but plenty of people did and the reviews were not exactly stellar. I can only speculate at this point what the fallout will be, but  I do know that Mr. Kraft immediately released a statement to the press using the words "intention" and "regretfully" which is never a good thing.

“I tried to help Ricki prepare an audition tape for an upcoming Vince Vaughn/Owen Wilson comedy by reading Wilson’s lines,” Kraft said in a statement from the team. “I never intended that it would be made public and I regret that it has. I think we can all agree that Owen Wilson has nothing to worry about. I am going to stick to my day job.”

At most, his intended humor serves to relay the message, "lighten up" people, I'm human, too.

Monday Mashup

  • Yooouuuuuukkkk! We are going to miss you buddy. Always good for a big hit, the consummate Red Sox, your funky stance in the batters box was legendary. Thanks for the memories and the two World Championships you helped us get. You will always be welcome here. I don't believe any of the crap they are dishing out. When they say it's not personal, it's business, don't believe them. Valentine didn't like you. Salute to the skipper! Love you dude, Godspeed in Chicago.

  • Obama is in my hometown today! He is digging up cash for his campaign from the Richie Rich's that live in this town. Holy blue state! No check writing Democrat wants to forget that Gore lost New Hampshire in 2000. Obama's peeps are taking note and leaving no electoral vote stone unturned. If you've got $18,000.00 you too, can sit with Barry and Michelle for dinner. Any takers?

  • Clint Eastwood's 18 year-old daughter is having sex with her boyfriend. Thank you Mrs. Eastwood and Company. I'm sure her father is thrilled that now the entire E watching world knows that.

  • One week down in Uganda, and I haven't heard a word from Frack. They told us that no news is good news. I guess.

  • Did Dr Oz just jump shark? And if he did I'm pissed about it. He has teamed up with Montel Williams to endorse these weight loss supplements and when I saw Montel on his show, Dr. Oz immediately lost credibility. So Montel is in great shape and he has written a few diet and exercise books, but isn't he the same guy who can get you a short term, cash advanced loan? Why should I believe him now just because Dr. Oz says so? I'm not buying it and Dr Oz just fell off the"his word is law" pedestal.

What A Bit*h

I woke up this morning with a memory I'm not proud of. I decided to share it with you so that I may find some forgiveness for the sin I committed.

Back in the early 80's, I was a high school freshman, just beginning to feel my oats as a young, pretty girl. I was finally one of the "coolies" as my dad used to tease us, and with my new found status, I had several choices for a date to the Freshman Semi-formal dance. For some God forsaken reason, I decided to listen to my mother and let her fix me up with her friend from work's little brother who was the same age as I was. I remember the excitement that would build every time my mom assured me that "Carl" was handsome, sweet and fun. After all, his sister Marina was gorgeous, she had dark hair and I remember her big brown eyes and flawless make-up.

I told all of my friends about my special date, and how nice and handsome he was. Soon word got around about my mystery man, and my friends were curious and inquisitive. All I knew was that this guy was great, and I could hardly wait to meet him. I made arrangements to attend a pre-dance party at one of my friends home and then to drive over to the school dance with another couple. (our parents would be driving, of course) Soon the night came and I could hardly wait to meet my Prince Charming. It's funny, I don't remember the dress I was wearing, (I think it was white) or what anyone else was wearing, but I remember everything about Carl.

My heart was racing when I saw Marina's white car pull into the driveway. I waited in the kitchen and as I heard my mom answer the door and invite them in. My pulse quickened as a huge smile crept across my face. Then Carl walked in. It was as if the band in the soundtrack of my life had just played a rousting rendition of the blooper music, because Carl was nothing like I had imagined. He had dark hair, like his sister, that was perfectly coiffed in a Deney Terrio style and he was wearing a dark suit and tie, but all I saw was his NOSE. And it was that big.

My heart, the one that had been giddy with school girl anticipation, dropped into my stomach and stayed there for the rest of the night. I greeted Carl, exchanged pleasantries and we soon left for the party. I remember being PISSED. I felt like I had been duped, and what I did next I'm not proud of.

When we got to the party, I ditched Carl faster than The Flash and left him to the dogs. You see, all my friends were curious about my mystery man and so when we arrived, he was pretty popular from all angles. Everyone questioning him about this and that. But when the questions had been exhausted, Carl and his NOSE were left alone in a strange place, all alone, to sit and wonder what his sister had gotten him into.

I think I must have talked to Carl again at the party, because he left with me, but once we got to the dance, my super hero powers were working over time, because I ditched that guy quick. WHAT A BITCH. And looking back now, who the hell did I think I was? Poor Carl. I'm not sure if he had a good time or not, because I hardly saw him at all that night. I think I saw him dancing with someone, but I can't be sure. Anytime Carl came near me I jetted off in another direction and quick. And the hardest part for me to swallow is that I didn't care. I somehow felt justified for my actions, because I had been duped. WHAT A BITCH.  Poor Carl was a complete gentleman, in the five minutes of my time I granted him that evening and I was that cold-hearted, stuck up bitch I so hated.

Looking back, Carl was not bad looking at all. His nose was big, yes, but if I think hard enough, he looked exactly like a large nosed Ralph Macchio and I remember him being polite and sweet, even after I treated him like dirt. Was looks all that mattered to me at that time? I guess so. What a tragedy.

Carl, if you are reading this today I want you to know that I am sorry and that 30 years later I am still sorry for the way that I treated you. I hope that God gave you a reward for withstanding what was probably your worst date EVER and if I ever meet you again, I OWE you one. A BIG one.

Who knows? Maybe somewhere, Carl has his own blog and he's already told the story of his bitchy and horrible date. I'm sure all his readers assured him that she was just not worthy of him.

Five Hundred Twenty-five Thousand Six Hundred Minutes

"Five hundred twenty-five thousand Six hundred minutes,

Five hundred twenty-five thousand Moments so dear.

Five hundred twenty-five thousand Six hundred minutes

How do you measure, measure a year?"

If you're Kim Kardashian you don't measure it in love, you measure it in money. It only lasted 72 days. 72 days was too long for Kimmy to be out of the spotlight so she created another bombshell to drop on the world. No biggie,. cuz life goes on in the Kardashian clan like nothing ever happened. Onto the next big thing.

"In daylights, in sunsets, in midnights

In cups of coffee

In inches, in miles, in laughter, in strife.

In five hundred twenty-five thousand Six hundred minutes

How do you measure

A year in the life?"

A loaf of bread lasts longer in my freezer than their marriage lasted. I have mold in my refrigerator older than 72 days, (not really, but you get my point) and it takes far more than 10 weeks/72 days to shoot an entire season of "Keeping up with the Kardashians". That, being the same "brand" they fought so diligently to protect. Now the experts are predicting that the public will feel "duped" by the sham that was their "over the top", lavish $10 million dollar wedding.

Sources have reported that between the wedding, the ring, and the deal with People Magazine and Us Weekly for the photos, Kimmy pocketed over $18 million for the entire scam. A mere $250,000.00 per day of their doomed union. Not a bad gig.

How about love? How about love?

How about love?

Measure in love Seasons of love.

Kim's not letting a minor divorce keep her down. She is already back to business hosting parties in NYC, going to Australia to launch her new handbag line then landing in Atlanta for her first major acting gig in Tyler Perry's appropriately titled move, "The Marriage Councelor". For Kim Kardashian every season is a season of loving herself.

And who said she is unlucky in love?

Freaky Friday

Hey bloggers! It's a Friday freak fest over here at The Dandy and who better to showcase than our favorite freaks!

Today's freaks are extra freaky, if you ask me.

Now, I have to ask you...do you think she knows her shorts are falling down? Cmon..I think this look screams, "look at meeee!!!"

I gotta give him style points here. Grey and pink are a perfect color pairing. The boy's got a fabulous flair for fashion.

Speaking of fashion flair, this boy is in danger of loosing those pants...are you kidding me? I wanna know how the hell he walks around like that.

OOOhhh baby, nothing like getting it on in full view of the Walmart public. Oh yeah, and his manly physique surely will make her envy of the neighborhood.

And is it me or is there something in the air? People seem to be getting a little somethin' somethin' everywhere. Hey, free lovin never hurt no one....

Unless of course the kiddies are looking, then they probably want to know why he's got his hands down her pants...

Sister has her cheeky issues, for sure, but my problem here is not her jiggly cheeks, but her HORRID shoes. The girl needs to buy a fashion magazine on her way out.

And I always save the best for last...

Look very closely, but don't stare too long it may hurt your eyes permanently. Is sister wearing pants? Stretch pants? Is she naked? I can't tell.

The world may never know the answer to that one.

Have a great weekend bloggers!

The Laundry Chronicles

So I was over at my friend Scope's place today and he was talking about laundry.

It got me to thinking about how I do laundry and I realized that I love doing laundry.

I know that sounds strange, but I do. It's like a challenge to me, because you know it somehow never seems to stop. Got nothing to do? Put in a load of laundry. Have a spare moment? Fold a load of laundry. It's weird, I know and get this...My favorite time to do laundry is on vacation. Nothing makes me happier than taking home a suitcase full of clean clothes.

I learned how to do laundry from the best; my sister who is a neat freak extraordinaire. She taught me how to fold and stack laundry and clothing like nobody's business. I could live my whole life without an iron and never know I needed one. It's all about the drying method and the folding and the storage. The Gap got nothing on us. We could fold them right under the table.

This, of course, comes in handy when I am packing for a trip. There is nothing I can't somehow fit into a suitcase. (the scale is my only packing enemy)

I have a whole category of things that don't go in the dryer. Jeans, t-shirts, sweaters, sweatshirts, must be lovingly, "hand ironed" while wet and left out flat to air dry. Anything that I really like a lot, never goes into the dryer. I even have wooden rods, built into the wall that are convenient drying racks. They make for easy access to flat drying items.

But I don't do my own laundry at home. Oh, I'll throw an occasional load into the wash here and there, but I really don't miss it. I'm lucky enough to have someone who does it for me and I am grateful for that. This could be the main reason I love laundry.

I am far enough removed from it to admire it from a far.

It's Britney, Bi*ch

Why am I writing about Britney today? Because today her new album Femme Fatale drops and because she was all over my beloved Good Morning America. I actually worked out this morning with Britney.

I feel like I really want to hate her, but for some reason I can't. She has managed to stay relevant and continues to keep her hold in our culture. She's made big mistakes in the public eye and lived to tell about them. I watched her performance this morning and I have to admit, her new single, "Hold It Against Me" has some serious "sticking in your head" power. I keep waiting for her to bomb big time, but she hasn't. And I also have to admit at 29 years old, and selling over 100 million albums to date, the girl is a bona fide pop icon.

Say what you will about her. She of the gargantuan mental melt down in front of the world, this Phoenix emerged from the ashes more powerful and popular than ever. You just have to respect that. You may not respect the choices she has made in her personal life, but you can't deny that her mom and dad stepped in and saved her life and that her two little boys still have their mama. Whatever that is worth.

This Britney is a little slower and not as crisp on stage, but she still rocks and the people love her. Suffice it to say that she's not going anywhere soon. She may not be the classiest pop star nor the brightest pop star on the block, but she's a draw and she still sells. I'm also sure that some of her new album will migrate it's way onto my ipod.

Britney and I were born on the same day, so in a way we are kindred spirits from "the day of larger than life" (our birthday December 2). And quietly I'll be rooting for her, because I love a good story of triumph and hers is one for the record books. That's right, It's Britney, Bitch, and she's back.

Monday Morning

I can't say that I enjoy Monday's. Nobody really does. It comes after my favorite day of the week, Sunday, and it has a way of creeping up on the sanctity of Sunday.

Reasons for hating Mondays:

  • It's Monday. Need I say more?

  • All the crap you left on Friday till after the weekend is staring you in the face, taunting you like an uninvited guest.

  • Monday is always the day you swear you are going to stop procrastinating. "Ill start on Monday." And you know that once Monday rolls around you're doomed.

  • Monday's can be hopeful. Staring down the face of the coming week, it can seem like you have plenty of time to do what needs to be done. Then you wake up and realize that ain't gonna happen.

  • Monday is a buzz kill. It come on the heels of a weekend. The best days of the week are on the weekend, but sadly Monday won't stay away. It's inevitable and sometimes it tries to mask it's responsibility with a holiday. Only when Monday makes a long weekend, do we embrace it with open arms.

  • You don't hear pop singers making songs about Monday, do you?

  • No one EVER wants to be known as a "Monday Morning Quarterback".

  • There's nothing good on TV on Monday Nights. Except for Nurse Jackie.

The best thing about Monday, is that it will soon pass and before we know it, it will be gone .

Then we can get on happily with our lives because we will be one day closer to the weekend.

Stick A Fork In Him

So I just don't get this.

Chris Brown, who pleaded guilty in 2009 to assaulting then girlfriend Rhianna, apparently had a major melt down in his dressing room at the New York studios of Good Morning America yesterday. Brown, who spent the last two years apologizing and keeping out of trouble since he took a huge hit (no pun intended) in his career from the fallout of the Rhianna incident, was on the morning show to promote his new album.

GMA anchor Robin Roberts asked him about whether or not he has moved on from the incident with Rhianna, and Brown, clearly bothered by this, spent the next two minutes trying to steer the conversation away from the topic of Rhianna and onto his new album. After his GMA performance, Brown then stormed his dressing room and trashed it. He then threw a chair into a window smashing glass onto the streets of Times Square below, ripped off his shirt and was photographed leaving the GMA set in a fury.

Do you think this kid has a serious anger management problem? Word has it that Brown was aware that he would be questioned about the infamous 2009 incident, yet he couldn't control his rage and successfully erased all the work he had done in the past two years rehabbing his image. For what? Because a TV journalist pissed him off? Hey, we all get pissed off, but we go home and throw chairs through windows, not in the headquarters of the powers that be. No amount of remorse can erase this one. So what if he patiently signed autographs for fans hours later on the streets of New York. The kid successfully put the word PROBLEM between his first and last name.

What the hell? Just when it was safe to come out from the shadows and eat some proverbial crow saying he was sorry for his behavior, he revealed to the masses who he really is. First time shame on me. Second time, shame on you.

Shame on you Chris Brown. Dude, seriously? You just blew it, again. Looks like you're just a punk with an anger management problem and not much else. I'm not sure there's any coming back from this one. I think you have successfully stuck the fork in yourself, cuz dude, you're all done.

Unrest In Peace

A quick peek at all the news that's out there today reveals s a lot of unrest. It's everywhere you look. There's the unrest in Egypt. There's unrest in Lybia and in Mexico City the drug cartels are bonding together to resist capture. Here in the US, Charlie Sheen is babbling and manic-ly proclaiming his rock star status while Lindsay Lohan has commenced on her own "Unrest-full" press tour.

I read yesterday that although there is unrest in the world we live in, Americans are more interested in who won an Oscar and whatever words last came out of Charlie Sheen's mouth.

Why? Because we can. Because our forefather's fought many a famous battle of unrest to ensure that we had certain freedoms from political dictators and oppressive governments. So we can indulge in frivolity, in the privacy of our own computers, if we so choose.

In Beijing, the Chineese people are uprising against authoritarian rule, only to be met with police force and imprisonment. In Yemen, thousands of protesters took to the streets to protest against their president, possibly hoping for the same kind of outcome as Egypt. Yet, in LA, they are calling a press conference to announce the new cast of Dancing With the Stars.

And somehow, it's OK because that's just how we, as Americans, roll. Detroit Free Press journalist Mitch Albom wrote about how the Kardashian's made $65 million dollars last year without doing anything of particular importance. Not one of them found a cure for cancer, wrote a Pulitzer Prize winning essay, solved an economic crisis or contributed anything of civic value to this country. They simply perfected the art of having an audience and we bought it, all $65 million hooks, lines and sinkers.

There is a battle going on in this country too, over public vs private workers and the unions that represent them. The battle hymn of the so called "working man" can be heard throughout the land.

I just hope it's not loud enough to drown out tonite's 20/20 episode with Charlie Sheen.

Week In Review

So let's recap the week here in sunny Massassachusetts.

Monday, clear and cold.
About 24 inches of snow on the ground from a month of huge snow storms.

Tuesday, snow. ALL DAY. 7 inches of accumulation.
Schools close early.

Wednesday, snow ALL DAY, which turns to sleet and freezing rain.
8 inches of accumulation of snow and ice which coats the ridiculously already snow covered ground. Two day total: 13-15 inches depending upon your location.
No School.

Thursday, light snow but no one really talks about it because at this point it's not really news.
1 inch or 2 of accumulation over the ice that has already accumulated from the day before.
Lots of schools closed due to pending dangers of roofs collapsing.

Friday, clear, frigid temps.
Still more school closings from roof dangers.

Saturday, MORE SNOW.
4-8 inches predicted.

MORE SNOW??

Blow it out your AS*!

Have a snow-less weekend bloggers!

Shut Your Hole

I'm not sure if the bump on my head from falling off the Turnip Truck is 100% healed, but Saturday night, my friend told me about this game called Cornhole. Now, I don't know about you, but my definition of a corn hole was NOT a game and much like a middle school kid, I giggled every time my friend said the word, corn hole.
A quick google search proved that indeed, Cornhole is a game and a serious one at that. There are even leagues and an American Cornhole Association. *insert immature giggle here*

People can get all kinds of different cornhole boards, pimped out with your favorite sports teams and or designs and there are official rules on playing the game.

Cornhole is much like beanbag toss, and some people don't think it's funny at all. According to the American Cornhole Association or the ACA;

"Cornhole or Corn Toss is similar to horseshoes except you use wooden boxes called cornhole platforms and corn bags instead of horseshoes and metal stakes. Contestants take turns pitching their corn bags at the cornhole platform until a contestant reaches the score of 21 points. A corn bag in the hole scores 3 points, while one on the platform scores 1 point. It's great fun for the whole family."*insert immature giggle here*

The game of Cornhole has even been called Cincinnati's best kept secret and the World's best kept secret. According to Shannon Russell of The Cincinnati Enquirer, "Cornhole originated on the West Side of Cincinnati, which is generally any area west of I-75." And since West Sider's eat East Sider's for breakfast, Ms. Russell writes that she was fairly reticent about checking out the Cornhole-ing community for her editorial assignment. “Cornhole is big over here because so many different people can play, and men and women can compete against each other equally,” said a Cornholer she interviewed. Russell, a native Cincinnati East-Sider, asked the Cornholer why she had she never heard of it.

“BECAUSE PEOPLE ON THE EAST SIDE ARE AFRAID TO SAY CORNHOLE,” The Cornholer said with a booming laugh. I briefly considered defending the entire East Side but decided I wanted to keep my teeth intact," writes Russell.

Dang, these people are serious about their Cornhole. *insert immature giggle here*

Come to think of it I kinda like my teeth too.
I think I'd probably be better served to just leave it at that, and shut my hole.
