A daily blog about all things Candy
who is that channelling shakespeare? thats funny. i liked your pix but whoa i got distracted by the photo below it. i'll have to try my hand at the caption. happy MM
I'm sorry, but I scrolled to the end and got lost in the butt crack lady. Don't tell she was buying more twinkies.I'm glad you're in this week because I need to bookmark your blog.Back to Mute Monday .... I thankfully wan't given any Judy Blume books to read as a kid. I know there were important to young girls, but they always made me cringe. Happy MM!
Great choices. I especially like the erudite toddler.Happy Mute Monday!
I was never big on Shakespeare in school but I have come to appreciate some of his plays later in life - after they're translated into an English I can understand. BwahahahahaHappy MM!
Ah, Judy Bloom!!! I adored her growing up!Love that first image. Very cool.happyMonday!
I am sooo lost. I think my reading paths were very... different than many. Then again, there are so many to books to read. But I liked the notions presented, mostly. Happy Mute Monday!
I have that same shot of Margaret Mitchell's grave. Took it the first time I visited Oakland Cemetary a few months after I moved here. Of course, I went to the cemetary right after that tornado blew through downtown Atlanta back in March of '08.Trees uprooted all over the cemetary, tombstones cracked and thrown about...and a few tombs unearthed. You know me..FUN, FUN, FUN!!
Boy do I feel stupid about the last comment that I left asking if the crack lady was from ‘People of Wal-Mart.’ Now that I’ve looked again and see it written clearly on the bottom. I love all of your images. I’ve been fascinated by Shakespeare’s genius for some time now. It’s hard to fathom how he created and accomplished so much in his life. He is responsible for over a third of all the everyday phrases that we commonly use. It is astounding!
All time favorite book has to be "Gone With The Wind." Epic!
Roald Dahl! Loved him as a kid...especially "The BFG".
I love reading! Every day is a reading day for me!
Are-- are we still allowed to comment on Mute Monday?....
Everything I need to know in life I learned from Shakespeare. And, yeah, Butt Crack Lady. Happy MM!
Loved loved loved Judy Blume as a kiddo. Happy MM!
