A daily blog about all things Candy
Honesty's the best policy.
Gets my buck.
I've seen that guy. He's all over the NYC area. A different guy with the same sign used to hang out in front of Yankee Stadium before games.Maybe he was the same guy...with a disguise!
Seen it before. The most original one I ever saw was about 10 years ago here in San Marcos. It said "I don't want anything. I just like standing here holding this stupid sign."
I enjoyed "Ninjas killed my family. Need money for karate lessons."
I’d give him my loose change. If anyone deserves to drink away their pain it’s the homeless.
"Honesty will get you NOWHERE on the mean streets of America..."
That's become sort of a homeless guy cliche. They're all over the place. What I wanna see is a guy in a suit holding a sign that says,"MY MERCEDES NEEDS A NEW SOUND SYSTEM."
I totally prefer this guy's approach.
lol! he's standing right under the sign for the Verizono bridge crossing!
As someone who has been close to where he is and come back he is at least making the first step of acknowledging his addiction. :-)
I know that guy, too. Never bought him a beer though.
