A Little Dash Of This And That

I know sometimes I'm likely to throw up a funny for a cheap laugh.......and that's exactly what I'm doing today!

I jacked this baby off the Boston Herald's web site this morning because it gave me a chuckle. You would have had to have watched Sunday's Super Bowl to "get" it, so if you don't know what I'm talking about, please see here for more hilarity.

I seem to be on a "greatest show on turf" theme this week, so in keeping with that theme, let's have a debate on tomorrow's Daily Dandy. I've had more than a few discussions and seen some media about legendary rock band The Who's halftime performance which has sparked a controversy about aging rockers and when to say when.

Bring your A game tomorrow and we'll have a throw down over who's sexier; Bruce Springsteen or Adam Lambert? Billie Joe Armstrong of Green Day or Steven Tyler?

I can't wait....

just for future reference...

when you say things like "I jacked this baby off"....

please know that people with MY maturity level can't handle it without making a comment.

My wife’s going away for a couple days tomorrow, so I’m watching the whole super bowl (including commercial) tomorrow night…..so excited!

I look forward to chiming in tomorrow, but I can’t tell you who’s sexier, only who sounds better….. Bruce and Green Day. Tomorrow you’d better add some girls!

Ha! That's funny...personally, I would have characterized Obama as more the Abe Vigoda type.....

I flipped on The Who for a bit and was annoyed to find them doing all the CSI theme songs. (It's CBS, so they were probably contractually obligated to do so.) Also, I couldn't turn away from the Puppy Bowl (or the Kitty halftime show) for very long. Yes, I watched it like 3 times.

Superbowl? Oh yes that game that is similar to our rugby but with a lot more padding and standing about ;-)

I think it was on the telly here but at some ungodly hour of the night. Anyway I was still celebrating England beating Wales in the 6 nations, same shaped ball ... ;-P

The end of the month will tell if he ate the snickers or drank the kool aid.

I'm pretty sure Pete Townsend, as a UK citizen, is up for mandatory retirement this year.

The Who...not so impressive but Bruce and Steven Tyler can still rock it in my world.
