Payton Is A Gangsta Manning

To continue yesterday's conversation about criminals in the NFL, my blogger buddy Chris from Maugeritaville commented on my Michael Vick editorial:

"Seriously, if you're going to ban guys from the NFL for being criminals, we'll be left with a two-on-two game . . . Peyton Manning and Greg Jennings against Kurt Warner and Warrick Dunn."

A great point. But I hate to break it to you Chris, as it brought this little gem to mind. (and dammed if I couldn't find a better clip of it. The voice is out of synch, but you get the point)

Yes, the NFL looks to be in great shape with role models like our poster boy Peyton.

I love that skit. That SNL episode actually changed my whole opinion of Peyton, even though I still keep my nickname for him - "Big Doofus." Because, come on.

So, what do you think of Big Ben's big mess? I pray to Art Rooney that he's not guilty. I don't think he is, but you never know.

There's an easy solution. Football must be extended to ALL YEAR so players can't get into trouble.

And the same should be done for basketball.

That is a fantastic clip, and do you remember the skit from the same show with Peyton and the rest of a basketball team getting coached up in the locker room with Herb Albert music?

So, why the hell does professional Hockey have a bad name?

That was hilarious! One of the best SNL sport clips was Tiger Woods dad driving him to make birdies before he was allowed to eat dinner or do his homework.

For the record, you gotta believe that big Ben is innocent. I’m not just saying that because I’m from Pittsburgh originally, and we are truly the City of Champions, but because there was no criminal trial. If an alleged victim goes straight for the money, then that’s really all you need to know!

Funny video.

A note about Michael Vick and his future.

More than one in 100 adults in the United States is in jail or prison ... so all the rock throwers who are dissing Michael Vick should look around - chances are some of their family, friends and buddies have seen the inside of a slammer. Will all the Vick hard liners be equally unforgiving and tough towards others who have done time?

And I'm a dog owner and I absolutely hated what was done to those dogs.

Candy - Your comment on Wills' site. You are a bad girl. Heff hates all sports, like most women do.

That's some funny stuff. I just posted a video that's sort of the opposite.

That sketch was classic. "I throw, you catch. It's not that hard!" Good stuff.

Peyton Manning best athlete ever on SNL? I think so. I still hate him though. On the field.
