I feel your pain, I really do. I went through the same thing and ended up just giving my ex everything. The money, the house, …..everything. I just moved to Florida and started over from scratch. And it all worked out better than my wildest dreams. So just try to look at it as a means to a very contented end. I get the impression that at the end of your marriage you were very unhappy. I guess that’s obvious in any divorce. Well, now you come across as extremely happy, confident, and self assured. And I see by your photo that you are beautiful as well. So you have an incredible life to look forward to! Going through this pain now, brings you one step closer to closure of a bad situation and the beginning of a bright, beautiful future! My thoughts are with you.
Ohhhhh, no. I truly hope that you DID feel better afterwards. It's usually the leading up TO the hurling that is most anxiety-ridden, so hopefully the meeting itself ended well.

ReplyDeleteWhen did the urge to hurl first hit you? After Buckholtz gave up his 5th homer?
ReplyDeleteI felt ill then myself . . .
XO
So sorry you're going through this. Been there, done that.
ReplyDeleteI could think of much much better ways to spend three hours, offt!
ReplyDeleteThree hours getting spa, facial, pedi/mani and massage.
Three hours watching Gone with the Wind and drinking with friends.
Three hours bicycling in the cool fall weather, near nature with like trees and such.
You should look into those to compensate for the three hours you spend at the lawyers office.
:)

ReplyDeleteHang in there. I hope the lawyer is decent. :)
ReplyDeleteHang in there kiddo. Surprising (to me) football post at TTR.
ReplyDeleteThat is NOT a good weight loss program! I hope you have somebody to hold your hair, that self holding photo didn't look good.
ReplyDeleteJeez, Candy, I don't know how I forgot to remind you of this, but . . .
ReplyDeleteSWEEEEEEEEEEP!
How 'bout those Yankees?!?!
You'll have to check in on Friday...Sully and I are doing a Sox-Yanks tandem post.
Blow it off, there's too much to do.
ReplyDeleteBesides, who wants scar tissue.
There's nothing sweeter than beating your ex in court, though.
ReplyDeleteAND I BEAT MINE HARD !!
As long as you "Candyshacked" into his open sunroof...
ReplyDeleteJust went and paid my ex's lawyer off today. Yeah, I feel you, well maybe I just want to. Ha
ReplyDeleteGRRRRRRRR. I can feel the frustration radiating through the monitor.
ReplyDelete((((BIG SYMPATHETIC HUGS))))
Ick. Hope everything went as well as it possibly could. Or that you at least puked ON him.
