I also use windows defender, and ever few days sweep with Glary's utilities9 registry fixer). I use the free version of that but you should probably pony up for the pro version. And have a version of McCafee that comes with my U-verse but I have the virus check portion turned off because it's not compatible with MalwareB.

Make sure your firewalls are turned on too and when you close up for the night use one of your Malware programs (whichever you think is the best) and do a full scan overnight.

With all the shit out there you have to layer the security and do the damned updates. which is why Malwarebytes is cool it updates daily automatically in about 5 seconds.the walking manhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10058913927297370740noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1232409199559817703.post-86590182873174822552013-06-27T23:24:07.334-04:002013-06-27T23:24:07.334-04:00Let's keep it clean.

Spybot lets you immunize your system to prevent infection. When I run any scan, it comes up clean, except for maybe one or two tracking cookies.
the rule is: only one anti virus, but one or more anti spyware programs.
Also CCleaner is an excellent program. Let it fix your registry.

All these are free.MarkD60https://www.blogger.com/profile/04081737467851406387noreply@blogger.com
